Shiori
Every tab you stick in a book, kept.
Overview
Shiori is for readers who tab their books. One tap logs a tab: the colour, the page and a note if you want one. Your legend lives in the app, so pink always means what you meant, starting from a romance, fantasy, thriller or classic key that you can rename, recolour and extend. The tab map puts every tab at its page along the book's fore-edge, rereads get their own pass, and reading sprints keep time while you tab and end in a shareable receipt. Books can be tagged with tropes and a spice level so the TBR puts the matches first, and the stats show bought versus read, top tropes and tabs by colour, shared as a Shelf wrap. Six vibes, from Paper rose to Velvet, set the colours of the whole app and of every picture you share. Books, tabs and notes stay on the phone and work offline, with no account to make; it is free on one phone, and $15 once adds sync across your devices, reading circles, spoiler-safe buddy reads and sprinting together. Shiori is live as a web app you install from the browser, and the Android app is in testing on Google Play. Its name means bookmark in Japanese (栞).
