Cryo replaces Alienware Command Center on Linux with something the Windows original never offered: a root daemon that drives the m18's thermals through the in-kernel alienware-wmi driver β no ACPI hacks β paired with a QML command center and a CLI. It interpolates custom fan curves with hysteresis, watches the dGPU to flip into G-Mode when a real game spins up, guards against thermal runaway in any profile, and runs the four-zone AlienFX keyboard, including a quantum cyan-to-violet morph that matches the studio palette.
