I4C Studio is the one-person product studio of Nathan Stewart. This page covers this website (i4c.studio and www.i4c.studio) and the studio's internal tooling that signs in with Google. Each product site states its own specifics; the principles here apply to all of them. Last updated .
Analytics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. They record page views and performance timings in aggregate, without cookies and without building a profile of you across sites.
The assistant (chat and voice). If you open the assistant, the text you type, and your microphone audio if you choose voice, is sent to ElevenLabs, which runs the conversational agent and speech synthesis. Conversations may be retained by ElevenLabs under its own policy and may be reviewed by the studio to improve the agent. Do not share sensitive personal information in the assistant. Nothing is sent until you start a conversation, and the microphone is only used after your browser asks for permission.
Abuse protection. Requests to the assistant are rate-limited. Your IP address is used in memory for that purpose and is not written to a database; only anonymous daily request counts are stored. Cloudflare Turnstile may run a privacy-preserving check to confirm you are not a bot.
Your browser's storage. Preferences such as language, sound and the state of the assistant are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and you can clear them at any time.
Email. If you write to the studio, your message and address are used to reply and are not added to any list.
The studio operates a private command-line OAuth application ("I4C Studio CLI") used only by the studio's owner to read reports for the studio's own properties in Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Google AdSense, and to submit the studio's own sitemaps. It is not offered to the public. It accesses only the signed-in owner's data, stores its credentials locally on the owner's machine, and does not transfer, sell or share Google user data with anyone. Its use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The browser tools (Tanko, Koyomi, Kataribe) process your files entirely on your device; files are never uploaded. They are funded by Google AdSense ads, and each has its own privacy page describing the cookies involved and how European visitors are asked for consent. The desktop and command-line products (q-ring, ProtonShift, MineUI, Cryo) run locally and do not send telemetry. Products with accounts or payments, such as Groundrules, describe their handling on their own sites.
You can use the site without the assistant, block analytics with any content blocker, and clear local storage in your browser. For questions, or to ask about or delete data connected to you, write to i4ctime@i4c.studio. This policy will be updated here when practices change.
